Grab a Seat: Boomer Tours is Headed to Fallingwater and the Land of Dixie in October

We’ve got two great travel opportunities in October – and you’re invited.

We’re offering our readers two guided, curated trips. One’s headed to the iconic masterpiece Fallingwater on Tuesday, Oct. 16, the other is a five-night trip to Nashville and Memphis from Sunday, Oct. 14-Friday, Oct. 19. Both are on comfortable deluxe motor coaches.

All you have to do is reserve a spot, show up at our departure site in Hudson, and relax. Your experienced guide local travel director Carolyn Szachta will take care of the rest.

If you’ve got just a day, then consider the Fallingwater trip. The $79 price per person includes transportation by deluxe motor coach, admission to Fallingwater, Frank Lloyd Wright’s masterpiece home in the Pennsylvania Laurel Highlands, lunch and a wine tasting on the way home.

Build in 1935, Fallingwater was a private home built over a waterfall. Considered an architectural masterpiece of the 20th century, the home is especially lovely in the autumn with its woodland setting.

We’ll eat lunch at the historic Stone House Inn, which has served travelers since 1822.

Our trip concludes with a stop at a local winery.

If you want more than a day away, then consider our Dixie trip to Tunica, Memphis and Nashville.

The $699 cost per person includes motor coach transportation, five-night hotel stay (including a three night at a casino hotel in Tunica), five breakfasts, three dinners, all tours and admissions.

We’re traveling through the history of American music, and our first stop will be Nashville. The birthplace of country music will include visits to Wild Horse Saloon and the Opryland hotel.

In Memphis well check out the Danny Thomas pavilion, the music landmark Sun Studios and the legendary sights and sounds on historic Beale Street.

We’ll visit Elvis Graceland, where we will enjoy the Elvis experience, including an audio guided tour, the Elvis car museum, airplanes and career showplace museum.

And no trip to Memphis would be complete without a pilgrimage to the National Civil Rights Museum and historic site of Martin Luther King Jr.’s assassination. The museum and historic buildings trace the history of the civil rights movement from the 17th century to today.
