Boomer Bash West: Mark Your Calendars and Get Ready for Some Springtime Fun

Our Boomer Bash was a blast the first time, and now we’re spreading the fun to our friends on the West Side.

Wednesday, May 16 is the date. LaCentre in Westlake is the place. We’re calling it Boomer Bash West, an entertaining and educational event for 50+ adults, sponsored by Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond magazine.

Our inaugural Boomer Bash at Eton Chagrin Boulevard was a huge success, with great music, food and drinks, a trivia contest, giveaways and a dose of helpful information, too. We’re building on that success with more giveaways, entertainment, vendor tables and – by popular demand – another signature cocktail to help welcome springtime while celebrating our Boomer-hood.

We’ll announce details later, but you won’t want to miss this opportunity to meet some of our Boomer columnists, listen (and dance!) to 70s classic music, and register for giveaways from our favorite vendors. The bash includes complimentary appetizers, “happy hour” priced drinks, a photo booth and more!

“It’s going to be an evening to remember with a lively mix of entertainment and education under one umbrella,” says Northeast Ohio Boomer and Beyond publisher Brad Mitchell.

Proceeds will benefit Greater Cleveland Fisher House. The organization, which is affiliated with the national Fisher House Foundation, is breaking ground in March for the first two Cleveland houses that will serve family members of veterans who are receiving treatment at the Louis Stokes VA Center. The houses will have a total of 16 suites that will accommodate 50 family members.

Boomer Bash will be returning to the east side in early November.

Look for updates on our website and Facebook page over the next few weeks including ticket information and a schedule of events.
