Healthy Aging: Exploring the Mind-Body Connection

! Research shows that how you feel and what you think can directly affect your body. Since body and mind are inextricably connected, the more you increase positive thoughts and emotions, the better you can learn to control negative emotions like fear and worry. In this four-week class you’ll learn heart-centered practices such as breath work, mindfulness, meditation, and ways to release emotional toxicity through journaling and other relaxation techniques. These practices can also provide health benefits, such as increasing memory, reducing inflammation and harmful levels of stress hormones, and mitigating the process of aging. Join us as we focus on self-care, and investigate ways to help you discover the wisdom you carry within.
